I realize that the smell of smoke was half to Pri'elm. there are three boats on the water 1 going down and 2 going up
I will go down river until I can find a way to cross. The smell is more intense as I move down river. The smoke is still rising, still further down river, still out of sight on the other side. A gentle rise obscures the source of the smoke.
I overheard that there is a holding of crafts people that were attacked. People are unsure what or why. 4 miles later I find a ferry service.
1. drops, unless I am going to Myra's tavern. I promise to eat there.
The lamb stew is recommended, by the ferry man. The fire started a week ago and is still burning despite the buildings being gone. The burning is from below ground, a mine.
I order a beer and stew and bread. 3 drops?
I go towards the holding. After several miles (passing workers in the fields) I arrive. There is a circle of ash around a small roundish hole in the ground that is about 6 feet in diameter.
The hole would have been completely enclosed by the buildings.
there is still smoke pouring out.
the smoke is not wood based, not pleasant but not poisonous. Not identifiable, perhaps coal.
I find a 12 foot long iron bar, there is a small piece of rock almost identical to the one in the pouch given to me by Tri'jar. This one has a few markings. This is a piece of the rock Tri'jar gave me. The two pieces fit together beautifully. There is no flakings or breaking in the two rocks. They fit together without a seem, and they aren't coming apart now. The piece is not complete, but not damaged and has a magical aura. (broken aura)
No water source here and therefore an odd place for buildings. Evidence of funeral fires. The area was thoroughly picked over.
I clear my mind on the prayer mat and cast my mind forward. My mind forward to a smoke filled nasty hole. My eyes don't water, I relax and go down. Very difficult to see for 10 - 15 feet. Shockingly I am out of the smoke. I concentrate and bring the daylight into the hole.
The hole is now 4 feet across and goes down around a corner. The smoke is pouring out of a fissure. there is a ladder of spike leading down. I go down and the hole narrows to three feet. I begin to strain, it hits bottom, then turns and goes up. There is old dirty dusty stuff down here. It is possible to go down. I have reached my limit and have gone about 800 feet.
The crafters mined out the of fissure as the spikes go only below it.
I physically climb down the hole. I and sixty feet down. Another ten feet below me the tunnel curves.
The tunnel is lined with grooves and ridges that are travelling up and down. The grooves are up to an inch deep. higher up the goroves appear to be worn off. The curve bottom is smoother. The rock is a hard rock. The amount of weathering indicates that tunnel is extremely old.
I made it gracefully to the bend.
After the bend it goes an angle. I travell 150 feet, then it flattens out for another 100 feet. If goes down steeply and I fall/slide for 10 feet (3 ph damage) and I make it another 10 feet further down. 300 straight with some up and down. The bottom is fairly smooth due water erorsion. I encounter a sharp curve, where it drops straight down and open up heading out. Movement of shoes ectt.. have worn the floor. The grooves stop at the lip.
I let myself down the hole and drop into the tunnel.
I trip and fall back a little and notice a dark spot and a different shading. There is a man made patch on the rock. There are sconces on the walls and the tunnels continues. The patch crumbles away to reveal a hole about the size of a grapefruit. It turns up and out of sight. I sit back and ponder
I reach my hand up the hole and it is hard to manouver with in the rock
I can barely reach an apparently lose rock and perhaps a fiber
I attempt to pry the rock lose
A missing piece of the strange stone was on the ledge and drops down

I also knock a piece of paper down - it is very dry
I study the writing, there is something familar about it. I have seen the alphabet used, I know the original piece in the library dated from the time of the Dra'carn but was not Dra'carn and some of the slaves had their own writing and it is one of theirs. Furthermore the writing appears to be in cyper.
The black rock is 1/3 complete and may have 6 pieces in total
As I move along the corridor moves from rounded to rectangular. There are alcoves that might have had door on them (the height of the corridor with a rounded recess of 6 feet) 4 on the right and 3 on the left. The alcove is spherical.
No evidence of the door, except for a groove that suggests a door.
I come to a door where the debree pile and I find it strange that I didn't see the door previously
The pile is 2 feet deep, some clothe
The pile is 2 bodies, under each skull is smooth golden looking circle.
These might have been collars, each one the thickness of a pinky finger.
There is some writing on a block letter stamp.
The writing is a Dra'carn alphabet
I hear a trickle of water
I push on the door on the left side I feel a rush of air
I cast detect magic and beyond the door I feel magic whose purpose if preserved.
Three aura 1 - complete and moderate, 2 - strong and incomplete 3 - very strong and not preservative in nature (a tool)
I give it my all in pushing the door, I hear a crack as the door swings into the right, smoothly and rapidly. A broken piece of stone bar broke with my push.
The rock was rotten
I seeIn the middle is a cericular fountain tht is strilll trickling water. The room is spherical and 30 feet in diamtee, There is a foul smell in the air.
Benches and mounds that appear to be bodies. there are three in total and there are three collar suspended on the pedistal. There is also another thing - a 4 inch diamtere rod that is 6 feet tall.
there is a Dra'carn egg that is dead not sure my character know what it is. It does look egg shaped, but a powder on the inside. The exterior is preserved.
