Vadran, The Shepherd
"Survival and security are Vadran's blessing on the Kradramak."
The Kradramak believe that Vadran the Shepherd was one of the two Gods who responded to their desperate pleas for deliverance. On their journey to their home Vadran protected them from the evil and danger that stalked them. When they entered the mountains the Kradramak say that Vadran knew they couldn't run anymore and sacrificed his freedom by fusing himself with the earth and the hills. He then raised steep cliffs, sent forth fire and created deep ravines to hold the darkness at bay and serve as their fortress. Deeper into the mountains his spirit sank and the mountains became lush with vegetation. As a result of The Shepherd blessing the Kradramak have lived in the Vodaklan? for thousands of years. (KradramakHistory)
The Shepherd is both a protector and provider of the Kradramak on this world. Vadran's priests honour their god's sacrifice by ensuring the survival and prosperity of the Kradramak and tend to be inward looking and neutral in relation to other countries and powers. The secondary focus is for the Kradramak to remain rooted in the Vodaklan? where they believe Vadran continues to protect and tend to be inward looking. They see their role as guiding and strengthening the people themselves either through partnerships and leaders. They will act as law keepers and advisors to the various leaders in the Kradramak communities
