One day a rider came with a message.
He was sent straight to the Head Priest.
Your young admirer was there when the message was delivered and noticed that the silent rival became extremely agitated upon the news and promptly disappeared.
He reported this to you just as you started upon your walk with your friend.
You walked up the mountain and had a reflective conversation about change and accuracy.
The head priest found you and delivered the message from the rider. Tasking you with finding out about the reported incident.
The writing on the paper translated as "He who waits"
It was in the Dra'carn language.
While on the mountain, you scried upon the silent rival. You found him in the library defacing a book by removing some information.
You read the rest of what was on the page, but don't know what was removed.
It was established that you would leave the next morning. It was found that the silent rival had left that night.
I accepted the invitation to go and see what the information was all about
The next morning you rise early, as monks are wont to do, and go to the travel room.
The silent rival discovered that I was scrying on him. He acted like he didn't care
Yes, he was openly disdainful of you.
I arrive in the travel room (need a better word for this)

Additional Notes From A Journal
19th of Spring 373
Late afternoon I just came from the table of partnership to the library
A silent bell announces arrival into the area of learning
Caiti comes down the stairs (he is irritating)
In the library I pick up some fibers from a page in a book. I identify it as one of 15 books. The smell narrows it down to three books, the texture to one of two. The second book is still warm to the touch (unamed as of yet). Text is scraped of the page (non human thoughts)
[14/01/2010 10:17:17 PM] Chris Epting: I remember (8 years ago) that this is a historical text about a culture prior to the writters. References a race who were slaves to Fireeaters/Breathers. It is a thick book.
As I was looking came across a page (something different about the missing text) where the fibers were missing from the page (I assume the ones I found on the floor) the removal was recently done.
previous page /Tale of boy King/ blank page/A slave "one who waits"

A servant runs to us on the observation tower (with the head of the order) iwth a request to look at something - to look into a tomb. This is in the cnetral empire. The fist said the tracks were fresh.
