We go to find out what happened to the boat. It is listing badly to the rear and has arrows embedded in it. We row the boat over to the ship and begin to investigate.

The Jaru? is there with a missing hand and seems to be infected. There are two slaves there. Fa and Navar. Fa is unhurt, but Navar has a bad stomach wound.

The Jaru? asks Afalar to get a leather pouch from the desk in the Captain's cabin.

Afalar has to swim in to the room and begins to search the desk. He quickly finds the case and searches further to find a dagger.

Ezra, the Jaru?, and the two slaves appear on the deck. The Jaru? slips and falls into the water and Sjer misses his grab. Ezra grabs a rope and jumps into the water after the jarru. Ezra manages to grab the Jaru? but is down under the water. Sjer directs Fa to pull up the rope that Ezra is attached to. Afalar then comes on to the deck and throws some stuff into the boat and then goes to Ezra's assistance. Ezra tries to hand Jaru? up, but his grip on Jaru? is loosened and Jaru? begins moving downstream. Afalar jumps in and grabs Jaru?. We get him to the rowboat along with everyone else. Sjer tends to Jaru? on the edge of the rowboat. We all get to shore and decide to spend the night in the temple.
