We begin down in the sewer. Sjer sticks the old man, IshmalTahar?, with a spear, Afalar slits his throat and then Ezra takes him down and disembowels him. He also beheads him and takes the head along. Then we all go down the stream. Afalar and Ezra are out in front. Sjer and Volorn and Zali'haro are straggling in the rear.

What follows is a 5 minute journey through hell and shit. Just as we pop out of a tunnel, Sjer goes under the water. After a long struggle Zali ends up on one dock and The rest of us, Afalar, Sjer, Volorn, and Ezra end up on a second dock. Afalar makes his way back to Zali's dock and then we all head downstream again in order to get to the public dock. Just as Zali and Afalar get to the dock, Zali slips underwater and breathes in a lungful. The rest of us manage to haul him out and save his life, but he is still unconcious as the morning light spills over our sorry asses. We manage to hire a boat to bring us across the river to the Island where the new market is.
