The people of the PiremEmpire (PiremMap), The Milar
The Milar people are darker skinned, have brown to black hair, are medium height, and have strong shoulders and sharp faces. Although, those used to a sedimentary and privileged life have become softer in appearance. All speak Milar and some are able to speak either Dromar or Kokorn.
Prior to the Prophet I'lam Si'laj's revelation of Chal the Mi'lar were a semi nomad people. They cultivated great herds of horses, sheep, cattle and goats. They spent their lives moving them from one grazing area to another. Some of the Mi'lar settled in small villages and fortifications to protect the family and tribal grazing areas. When not tending their herds and flocks they raided cultivated areas around them such as the city-states, Ko'fira (PiremMap), and Cathon (LielmMap). Their raids also extended across the Ji'ralja'vami into the kingdom of Allence. Lastly they raided each other.
The Mi'lar were divided into six tribes:
• On'ja'quar
• Vogazi
• Iquara
• Risi'ar
• Alizamar
• Tovasi'qui.
These tribes competed for land and animals and pride. Although they raided each other, they also engaged in peaceful trade and cooperated when there was a strong outside threat. The Mi'lar spoke a common language, which is now the official language of the Pir'em Empire.
The Mi'lar spanned across an area of land they called Cas'zula'na'var. This land stretched from the Ji'ralja'vami in the East to the Talfri'rajmi in the West and from the Jazmil'ajmi in the North to the Li'marja'rajmi in the South. This grassland area covered 1,040,400 square km, an area roughly the size of Ontario or an area equal to Alberta and Saskatchewan combined. The Alberta and Saskatchewan comparison will provide a good image of the climate, vegetation and topography of the region.
