The currency of the Pir'em Empire consists of a set of coins made of glass. The glass coins are made valuable by the gold and rare dyes that are blown into the glass.
The shape and the colour of the coin determines the value of the coin. There are three distinct shapes of coins. The Drop, the Rod and the Sphere. The Drop is the least valuable and the Sphere is the most valuable.
• The Drop is in the shape of a rain or tear drop (3cm or 1.25 inches long)
• The Rod is cylinder the same diameter of a pencil but half the length.
• The Sphere is size and shape of a pingpong ball.
The colour determines the value of the individual coin (the demonination) in relation to others of the same shape.
• Green = 1
• Blue = 5
• Purple = 10
Therefore
• 1 Sphere = 50 Rods = 2500 Drops
• 1 Rod = 50 Drops
• 10 Green Drop = 2 Blue Tears = 1 Purple Tear
• 10 Green Rod = 2 Blue Rods - 1 Purple Rod
• 10 Green Spheres = 2 Blue Spheres = 1 Purple Sphere
