The Season of Honey (Summer)
.1 - 78th of Lirar’a’mazi - The Meeting of The Three
Taval & Mahir arrive at the temple in Aranis Dir and present their letter of introduction. They meet Drovan who brought the injured Jazim to the temple. Taval heals Jazim and as a result are given a quest by Cha’zul A’havi to determine what is happening in the forest. Cha’zul A’havi tasks Drovan, Taval and Mahir to verify Jazim’s tale and learn as much as they can. Secondly, they are asked to determine what happened to Vazir
.2 - 82nd of Lirar’a’mazi - The First Tree
Taval, Drovan and Mahir arrive that the tree. They see that the sheep is entwined with the tree and in the process of exploring the tree they are attacked by vines controlled by the “Tree”
After a struggle in which they were dragged by the vines, seared by acidic sap and poisoned they manage to subdue the tree. After a short rest to recover they enter the forest following a thick half buried vine that left this tree and went deeper into the forest.
.3 - 82nd of Lirar’a’mazi - The First Cedarkin
The Three were ambushed by a half dozen “Cedarkin”. They struggled to survive and one of the “Cedarkin” fled into the forest.
They retreated to a well defended tower of rock, which Drovan had previously seen. There they rested and spent the night. In the morning they destroy the Cedarkin scouts who were searching for them.
.4 - 83rd of Lirar’a’mazi - The Ashani Stones of the Iron Face Shawnal.
On their towards another tree, The Three were attacked by a dozen of Cedarkin which drove them away from the tree further into the forest. They stumbled their way up a cliff and eventually found their way into the ring guarded by the Ashani Stones.
"The spirits of the Shawnal keep the “Cedarkin” at bay, awoke Mahir’s tattoos and gave a Drovan a quest. This was the event that, far beyond mere scars earned from a never ending gauntlet of bloody battles, remains seared into our memories. It was the turning point in our adventures, one which promises to have lasting impact on our future experiences. This magic experience connected Drovan with the Shawnal ancestors; their spirits remain with him, inside his soul, to this day. They are sure to share tribal memories with him in the future. It also represents the metamorphosis of Mahir. The glowing light that emerged from his tattoos was a sight to see, and the powers that flowed through him and into his knife were both heroic and terrifying. Who knows what secret powers lie dormant in those spirals of ink he bears." - Taval
.5 - 84rd of Lirar’a’mazi - The Tree by the Krudrun Well.
This tree was situated in a shallow crater on the top of a high hill. In the Tree’s branches hung many skulls which provided “sight” to the vines that infested and controlled the tree. As The Three approached the Tree they were attacked by sentinel vines that threw thorn darts. These they destroyed one by one and they systematically made their way towards the Tree. The Tree defended itself with vines that wrapped up Drovan and Taval like a snake. Drovan was nearly consumed by the Tree’s maw and Taval was almost drowned in the pond. In a last desperate defend the Tree summoned Cedarkin from the pods. They explored the Krudrun made pond and well. In the bottom of the pond in which they found several items.
.6 - 88rd of Lirar’a’mazi - “Vines, Axes and Agarazin Oh My”
The group discovers the ruins of a long abandoned Dromar village. In scouting the village they discover that Cedarkin are driving sheep and a human towards the village. They rescue Azzi and fight their way into the village. Over the course of four days they struggled clear the village by fighting Cedarkin ruined building to ruined building destroying vines and pods as they went. In one building they encountered Vazir for the first time as he was released from his pod and escaped into the woods with his axe. These axes appear to control the altered humans and tried to control Drovan when he picked one up. They were ambushed after one rest by an unusually large Cedarkin wielding a Kurdrun short sword.
They fought their way to the village’s Tree which was draining the life-force from two people in pods to heal itself and to sprout sentinel vines. Bursting from one of these pods was Daran the Agarazine. With his help the group destroyed the Tree and clear the village of vines. As they were clearing the vines they attempted to infiltrate Taval and Mahir’s minds. A strange tattoo on Mahir’s back flairs to life and protects Mahir.
.7 - 90th of Lirar’a’mazi - Giant Insect and Three Lights
On Drovan’s advice they travel to the Spirit that must have been the focal point of these villages. They found a prominent stone that was wrapped by four strong vines. They were ambushed by a giant insect that burst forth from the ground. They retreated to a rocky campsite when they reunited with Daran. That evening they encountered three floating lights that approached them. The Ashani in Drovan’s head screamed a warning, Mahir’s tattoo flared, only Daran and Taval dared to approach the lights. In the end the lights were seeking help and were thought to emanate from the stone.
The Season of Harvest
.8 - 1st of Vazir’a’mazi - Autumn Equinox rescue of Stamaranis
The spirit known as Stamaranis was being drained of its power by the vines and the equinox was the opportunity to free Stamaranis. A desperate fight to free the Spirit Stone from the grip of the vines by the equinox was successful. Vines grappled, dragged and passed the party towards the maw. Almost 30 Cedarkin threw themselves at the group in attempt to keep the party away from the Stone. Daring escapes and desperate searches found the focal lens that provided the Stone with the power from the sun to burst the vines from itself. Stamaranis communicated with Daran and said it held a debt of gratitude towards the group.
.9 - 2nd of Vazir’a’mazi - The debt is paid
They followed the vines east and were attacked by an other insect that almost destroyed the group. They were only saved when the stone spirit Stamaranis restored Daran’s life, saying the debt was paid. Afterwards they destroy one group of Pods. Perhaps another remains.
.10 - The Ambushed Caravan
They found the remnants of the caravan that Daran had travelled with investigate rumours of strange happenings in the forest.
.11 - 5th of Vazir’a’mazi - Recover at Garadis Dir and surprise Vazir
.12 - 6th of Vazir’a’mazi - Stalked by Vazir
On their travels from Garadis Dir to Aranis Dir, the party was tracked and followed by Vazir. One morning they woke up to find that he had paced around their campsite for much of the night despite the watches that had been set.
.13 - 7th of Vazir’a’mazi - Aranis Dir proclaims The Three
The party returned to Aranis Dir to regroup and to take their story to the Mi’Alm in Aljaca’ri. They obtained a letter of introduction from Cha’zul A’havi to be used when they seek an audience. They set about resupplying, ordering armour and arms and resting. The Three as they are called are the talk of the town. They rallied the town to set defences and patrols against anticipated actions by the Dark Powers that reside in the forest. Their stories are supported by the Agarazine.
.14 - 9th of Vazir’a’mazi - The Tables were flipped by Vazir
The Three track Vazir and set an ambush on hill where he had made camp. As they waited Vazir attacked and a swift, furious battle ensued, neither side won but both side retreated grievously wounded. The townsfolk wonder how they will stand against what is to come.
.15 - 11th - 18th of Vazir’a’mazi - Recruitment of the Shawnal
Switching tactics The Three determine that they must rally those who live here to set up their own defence and not rely on the graces of the Mi’lar who live in distance towns. So they visited a half dozen villages spreading the news of what they had faced and what they believe will come to pass. Stirred by their story many pledge their support to the patrols and look for ways to defend their homes. The second goal was to recruit Shawnal who would be willing to travel to the Ashani Stones and reunite with their ancestors. Five answered the call, Kuria, Ores, Orii, Wasil, and Paera.
.16 - 20th of Vazir’a’mazi - The death of Ores
The Three and the five Shawnal started their journey towards the forest intending to go towards the first tree they encountered. On their way they were being tracked by two groups of Cedarkin. They briefly witnessed a meeting between Vazir and another human. A game of cat and mouse ensued, the Cedarkin searching for the band of humans, while Drovan led the group towards a defensible position away from the Cedarkin, aided by Taval and Mahir skills and prayers. Their hope of an escape was dashed while in the night they were attacked by 30+ Cedarkin and four new creatures (a combination of fungi and flesh). A human initiated the attack and left the Cedarkin to finish them off. However, the humans stood together with might of arms and blessings from Praj and Chal defeated the forces arrayed against them. However in the battle Ores was killed and Drovan drew his soul inside of himself to return it to the Ashani of the Iron Face tribe. The run to the Ashani stones begun that night.
.17 - 22nd of Vazir’a’mazi - The defence of the Ashani Stones
They arrive at the Ashani stones on the 22nd. Ores' body is placed in the traditional burial trees and his spirit is united with his ancestors. The party defends the Ashani stones in four stages. The first three battle are against the animated trees and their Cedarkin attendants and final battle was the destruction of the teleportation tree. With the local vines and trees destroyed the party felt it was safe to leave Kuria, Orii and Wasil to organize the defence of the Ashani Stones and left to return to Graradis Dir.
.18 - 28nd of Vazir’a’mazi - The Letter of War
The Three return to Gradis Dir (GradisDir?) in time to take part in the Funerals of many Dromar who had fallen in the defence of their lands.
Taval spoke with Cha'zul Ishmal and learned that sent riders with a letter to the Mi'lm and the Senior Cha'zuls urging war against the Praj.
The Three discovered Vazir lurking about the village and followed him to a meeting with his "General". Vazir was told to intercept the Cha'zul's letter and ensure that it did not reach the town.
.19 - 30th of Vazir’a’mazi - Vazir is defeated
.20 - 31st - 33rd of Vazir’a’mazi - Audience with the Mi'lm
With the help of Haic and the Taval's name The Three were able to secure an audience with the Mi'lm. While waiting for their audience The Three were interviewed (interrogated) by Cha'zul Hiram imi Arahij? & Cha'zul Noran imi Vamiri and later by the Sjajiam Tarval. Mi'lm Hi'cian carefully negotiated the audience so that he was able to set the agenda and temper the machinations of Cha'zul Hiram.
For three nights Mahir had increasingly disturbing dreams in which he patrols and secures his mind (represented) as a house. One the third night his house was invaded by a man who attempted to steal something from Mahir, but Mahir was able to remove the intruder. Drovan was located the intruder on the rooftop and attempted to give chase. This person was later identified as Navira war Firajimaz (NaviraNarFirajimaz)
.21 - 34th of Vazir’a’mazi - Official Reconnaissance
The Three receive a commission to scout and letter of introduction from the Mi'lm. They travel through Dralon Dir, Melranar Dir on their way to Gradis Dir. On their way here stories of unrest, strange activity, and attacks as they near Gradis Dir. (GradisDir?). Witness spores drifting across the lands from the forest.
