An overview of the various beliefs found in the Pirem Empire

The Church of Chal (TheChurchOfChal)

The Church of Chal is a monothesistic belief, that is the offical religion within the Pirem Empire. The Church believes that a supreme being called Chal recreated everything that existed. Chal created the heavens and earth (Jiaj), Chal created the being living in the heavens called the Praj, who in turn created life on earth. Currently the Church of Chal has decreed that all Praj are evil and plot against Chal. Therefore the Church of Chal has declared that all other religions are outlawed.

The Myronists follow the teachings of Alys Myron. Alys Myron found an ancient set of prophecies, with the help of three beings called the Dri'malan she translated the prophecies. The Myronists believe that the Prophecies predict that the Races will destroy themselves. The Dri’malan have shown the world how to live in balance with the world. They have also shown how to contain the worst accidents/disasters from causing utter destruction. They have also shown the Myronist that they can slow the prophecies down, until all the races adopt a life of balance.

Shawnal - ancestor spirituality

The Shawnal believe that all souls travel to the spirit world. The spirit world is a hostile place, full of dangerous spirits who want to devour the dead souls. The Shawnal believe that if they hide the souls of their dead within the Ashani stones they will be safe from the spirit world. Through the Ashani stones the Shawnal Ancestors can communicate and assist the living Shawnal.

Prior to the advent of the Church of Chal the Mi'lar believed that world was created by the Firebird who lived in the sun. The Firebird's daughter's are the two moons that encircle the world. These sent the AnimalGuides? to the Mi'lar, who taught the Mi'lar how to survive on Ji'aj.
