Paera is a young Shawnal woman who lives in the Lands of Alm Hi'cian (AlmHician). She has entered into a pact with the Spirit Stamaranis whom she reveres and serves (as a warlock, dad genie subclass). In turn Stamaranis protected her from great danger and provides her with her powers.

Paera ancestors are Shawnal of the Iron Face Tribe (TheIronFaces). She initially wanted to go to the IronFaceAshaniStones and serve them but she was barred from entering into the Ashani stones by the Ashani of TheIronFaces because she served another master the Spirit, Stamaranis.
