Lincoln Silk: The blood from the bodies is pooled around them, but no blood appears to be tracked anywhere. There aren't any splatters noticable.
Lincoln Silk: For the most part the library is intact, however there are two sections that appear unkempt.
Lincoln Silk: In one section many books have been unceremoniously dumped from the shelves to the floor. In another, there are bits of shredded paper on the floor and it is obvious some of the books have been disturbed.
Lincoln Silk: The candles on the wall have almost burnt out. They look to be 5 hour candles.
Chris Epting: Exit the library and retrieve more candles from the supply room. Was here 6 times in the past
Lincoln Silk: The supply room has also been rifled, but you find 4 or 5 candles on the floor.
Chris Epting: What appears to be missing from the supply room?
Lincoln Silk: The travel-ready foods are mostly gone.
Chris Epting: http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/detectMagic.htm
Chris Epting: Tajal put the books back in an attempt to remember what books are missing. 30 minutes later I have replaced all the books in their correct location. On the second shelf from the floor is a missing book
Lincoln Silk: There is a book missing, but which one? You ponder is as you peruse the other titles. You glance at the bodies and see the pools of blook. They haven't gotten any bigger, but they are turning a darker shade of red, turning almost black.
Lincoln Silk: That's it. Blood. "The Blood of Old is added Last"
Chris Epting: examine the shredded pieces of paper and the book to which they belong.
Chris Epting: A copy of the book Kitai defaced and the same pages are defaced as well. In this book there are 2 more pages destroyed and shredded. The Order has no other copies that Tajal is aware of. See http://blearyowl.com/index.php?page=AQuietBeginningChatLog
Lincoln Silk: As you look at the bodies, the blood in both cases appears to be coming from neck wounds. They are both lying on their stomachs, so you would have to turn them over to examine further.
Chris Epting: I will turn them over
Lincoln Silk: As you roll the first one over, the ugly ragged hole in his throat becomes apparent.
Lincoln Silk: You jump back as you see movement, at the wound, and a lazy gorged insect crawls out of the wound.
Lincoln Silk: It snaps it's wings to clear them of gore, and flies up and out of the room.
Lincoln Silk: You hear a soft scrape and see another one crawl out from under the second body. It too begins to exit the room.
Chris Epting: I threw a candle stick after the bug, it escapes and flies up out the temple ceiling hole.
Chris Epting: The bodies are filled with poison.
Chris Epting: A dust free round circle on the desk. Dust less than a week thick.
Chris Epting: size of a end of a scroll case, wine glass.

Lincoln Silk: He defaced the image of the half circle with the seven rods. A referenced to one bidding his time to awake to continue the struggle. Mentions that this individual the one who waits wrote a book called the Blood of the Old is added last.
Chris Epting: I am meditating in the front foyer on the situation. Thoughts return to my mind about my journey, the libraries and the situation
Chris Epting: I see Kitai and remember what he looked like in my dream and what he looked like in the cloister. I see Ramalar, his assistance and Kitai and I sense that something is driving Kitai. Something external to Kitai. I see a face of a boy that I should wait for and follow. I see an image of a bright moon shining into the library.
Chris Epting: I am in a vision running at knee level following Kitai. I see him boarding a boat. As he is stepping aboard, he turn his head and looks directly at the boy, he reaches into his cloak and he raises his in a throwing motion with an insect.
Chris Epting: I then leave the dream.
Chris Epting: I wake up full and not (level up) The door opens in front of me.
Chris Epting: Amir do not be afraid it is me Tajal Izlijah
Lincoln Silk: I am looking for Ramalar, he is three hours late for dinner.
Chris Epting: I have been sent by Arakel Sominal
Chris Epting: Blood of the Old One is added last - nonsence and possibly a hidden code.
Chris Epting: The object on the desk (a physical puzzle that couldn't be cracked) in Kitai's possession.
Chris Epting: Consecrate the library and ward it. Gather my things and leave with Amir. Walk to a small house that belongs to the order on Island 17
Chris Epting: The house is vacant but well provisioned
