The languages heard in the Pirem Empire are as diverse as the cultures within it. TheMilar language has become the offical court language of the Empire. Furthermore the MilarLanguage has become the trade language and the offical language of the Church of Chal. There are those who do not speak the MilarLanguage, but they are not found in positions of power nor are they rich merchants. In effect the MilarLanguage has become the common tongue of the Empire. Although Milar has become the common tongue less than half of the inhabitants of the Empire speak Milar.

There are several other major language groups which account for the majority of the population. There many more minor languages and countless dialects found in the vastness of the Pirem Empire.
